Visual identification

Since January 1992, Saint-Hyacinthe has used a visual identification that reflects the pride of its inhabitants, known in French as "Maskoutains".

The two parallel rectangles represent farm lands—the flagship of the regional economy. The rivière Yamaska, cutting across lands and the City, is represented by a set of sinuous lines. The dynamic development associated with the City is symbolized by the direction towards the right.
